Meet the Catholic College Wodonga Careers Team!

Sandie McKoy, Career Development Leader

Sandie has dedicated nearly 20 years to career development, with a diverse background that includes youth case work, high-risk adolescent residential support, event management, health promotion, hospitality, equine services, and retail management. She has worked at various organisations such as Upper Hume Community Health Services (now Gateway Health), Central Hume Support Services (now Junction Support Services), Open Family Australia, City of Wodonga Youth Services, Workways, and the Youth Pathways Program.

Sandie holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science with specialisations in Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience, and a Graduate Diploma in Career Education and Development. Additionally, she has Certificate IV qualifications in Training and Assessment, Employment Services, and Alcohol and Other Drugs.

Throughout her career, Sandie has developed and implemented youth programs for at-risk youth in local schools, led youth groups, and held management positions on several local committees and boards. She has worked with thousands of young people on the border over the past two decades and has been a dedicated employee at Catholic College for the past 16 years. In recognition of her contributions, Sandie was recently a finalist for the 2023 Australian Centre for Career Education (ACCE) Career Excellence Award.
